Nice stay but service needs work

We stayed here for one night on our anniversary. The room was nice, clean, and had a great view. Spa was the highlight, really loved the pool! Dinner was a bit of a letdown, though— waited ages for everything, and the dessert options were super limited. Plus, drinks were crazy priced!

we had a fab stay at rookery hall! the food was delicious, especially the 3-course meal we had in the restaurant, very fresh n cooked to perfection. the spa was gorgeous too, pool was huge and super clean. our room was spotless and so comfy, i just loved it! staff were really friendly n always there to help, made us feel welcome.

This place was a well-suited match for a fleeting stay in Nantwich with good value for the cost. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff were very helpful. If you can, book ahead to secure better rates.

The spa includes an extensive range of beauty treatments alongside a hydrotherapy pool that really enhances the relaxation experience. Highlighting the spacious lounge areas, I particularly enjoyed the beautifully landscaped grounds that surround the hotel, offering a peaceful retreat after a long day.

Room service had a couple of hiccups, with incorrect orders being delivered, which can be frustrating when you've got a craving. Breakfast timing also needs tuning—I waited over 20 minutes for drinks, which felt excessive during a leisurely meal. The sauna was cooler than I expected, compromising the usual warmth that you look for in such a facility.

Room phones not operational!!! Spa slippers should be complimentary!!! Service charge auto-added to the bill feels presumptuous!!! Improvements needed for restaurant timing and menu options!!! Higher drinks prices don’t match offerings!!!

The staff were exceptionally professional and created a warm atmosphere, with thoughtful touches like goody bags for children and high-quality breakfasts featuring delicious home-made jams. the experience was marred by a disorganized spa setup, cold and unkempt changing rooms, and long delays during lunch service that left meals lukewarm and some orders incorrect. With poorly prepared room upgrades and disturbances from children in the corridors, this was not the tranquil getaway we had anticipated.

What a nice place! The architecture is stunning, and the grounds feel so romantic. Reception was super helpful, especially Elle, who really made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was a dream with that roll-top bath. The only hiccup was having to walk outside to get to the spa, especially in chilly weather. Breakfast was delish too!
